Cocoa Card

I made this "hot cocoa" card the same way as the gift card holders. I had to fold over the edge of my cocoa pkt but it worked nicely. Using the ribbon for the closure allows the card to expand to hold the cocoa pkt. Cocoa mug stamp is from Impression Obsessions. I used liquid applique for the the puffy marshmellow, so crystal stickles for sparkle and waala a cute little "keep you warm" winter card.

A Little Creative Energy Spent Today!

This is the inside of a "gift card" card. Pine had a very similar example on her blog and I thought it was the perfect project for me today. For complete instructions, see her blog http://www.pinefeather.typepad.com/ . The front is below. Round stamp is from a Stampin' Up set called Rivets I believe. The For You is from Gina K Designs, Rectangle Greetings.
I put this card together today also. I saw this idea on a blog, but can't remember where or I would be happy to give credit to whoever gave me the idea!! The stickles along the top of the snow is crystal...for some reason it looks pink in the picture...not so in real life!! Merry Christmas is from Hero Arts. I cut the trees by hand from Memory Box's Gingercake paper.

It seems so much colder now that we have snow on the ground. The snow is pretty, but I really hate the cold!!
