A Little Creative Energy Spent Today!

This is the inside of a "gift card" card. Pine had a very similar example on her blog and I thought it was the perfect project for me today. For complete instructions, see her blog http://www.pinefeather.typepad.com/ . The front is below. Round stamp is from a Stampin' Up set called Rivets I believe. The For You is from Gina K Designs, Rectangle Greetings.
I put this card together today also. I saw this idea on a blog, but can't remember where or I would be happy to give credit to whoever gave me the idea!! The stickles along the top of the snow is crystal...for some reason it looks pink in the picture...not so in real life!! Merry Christmas is from Hero Arts. I cut the trees by hand from Memory Box's Gingercake paper.

It seems so much colder now that we have snow on the ground. The snow is pretty, but I really hate the cold!!

TECC43

I made this card for Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #43. I kept this pretty simple for lack of time but I still liked how it turned out. Paper is from Memory Box Winter Wonderland Collection. Sentiment from Stampabilities. Snowflake is punched out and I rubbed it on my Versamark pad and embossed it with holographic embossing powder. Snowman on the inchie is from Lockhart, colored with copics and a few touches of glitter pen. Then, I topped it off with the three blue robin eggs.
Now I gotta head to bed and get some sleep!

I made this card last weekend and then I saw the inchie challenge at http://ellenhutson.typepad.com/inchie_inklings/ so I had to enter it.
The snowflakes are from a stampin' up set. I stamped them with versamark dazzle and then clear embossed them. I punched the snowflakes out and spread artic ice Ice Stickles over them. I also edged the window with the Stickles. The inchie was a Lockhart image and I colored it with copics and used a clear spica for sparkle. Used my snowflake embossing punch from fiskars for the edge of the piece inside the card. Blue paper is Prism.

I got some of the "new release" stamps and a couple snowflake punches at Papertrey a while back so I had to give them a try. The swirl is a doodlebug stick with it with Martha Stewart glitter. I used Versamark Dazzle to stamp some snowflakes on the background. The sentiment is from Stampabilities.

I am still here!!

I have been way to busy with my photography business to do any stamping! However, I did make shower invitations for my niece's bridal shower and also some thank you's for her to send out. They were about as fast and simple as they could be!! The bridal shower invitations were made in photoshop and printed out and then I punched the front bottom edge with a fiskars punch so that the strip of purple on the inside shows. For the thank you's I used the same basic design but added a purple stripe on the front and the just stamped the front with my JustRite stamper and added a tiny purple pearl to the curl of the C. I wanted to stamp that part and punch it out and attach it with some foam tape to give it some dimension, but I didn't have a punch the right size at the time.

CPS #76

I made this card for the CPS #76 challenge http://cardpositioningsystems.blogspot.com/ I got to use one of my new Fiskars embossing punches for the edge of the kraft cardstock. The patterned paper is from Pocket full of Posies and the rest is from Paper & More. I popped up the flower and cut one out of the paper, punch another out with a punch, used a small prima flower and topped it off with a flower brad that I added crystal stickles to.

Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #27

I am a House Mouse Stamp Collector to some extent....not a fanatic, but I love the cute little guys! Taylor's Cupcake Challenge http://tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com/ looked like the perfect opportunity to use my "Birthday Cupcake" stamp. The metallic blue paper was from Paper & More. The patterned paper is from Pocket full of Posies collection. House Mouse stamp is Stampa Rosa and Wish is from Inque Boutique "Sugar Shoppe." I punched the scalloped edge circle out with a Stampin' Up punch and the other circle with a Marvy punch. I colored the stamp with my Copics and used a bit of crystal Stickles for sparkle.
